Thread: fall mushrooms on northen IN.

been finding some puffballs with these rains. those of you up north better get at it. lol anyone else hunt fall shroom of any kind? what other kinds are safe for an amateur to try?

for those that dont know what a puffball looks like-

Used to find them in corn fields while bunny hunting. They were dry and dangerous by that time. Had a beagle run nose first into one, thought he was a gonner. An hour later he was good as gold. Scary for a while.
