    we had an exception hatch also on the farm I hunt, 8-10 chicks with hens they really like to pick gravel off the road I cant believe that more have not been hit by cars

    They are a keen eyed funny bird to watch. Had never seen many on my side of the creek, until this year. Seen hundreds crossing hay fields across
    the creek and now they found out how to cross the creek to eat at my feeder. Maybe I won't shop at the store this year for a bird.
