    filled my 2nd tag and ended my 2013 season this morning...guessing 19 or 20 lb bird. he has a 10" beard and 7/8" spurs. time to focus on fishing!

    funny you say that because i just caught the bug to get into jig tying. im reading through the stickies etc and trying to figure out how to get started, what to buy etc. i hunt ducks/geese/turkey so it seems like a good offseason hobby to get into...i usually have plenty of feathers around.


    x2 on the fried turkey! i am saving one breast to cook with a buddy. we are gonna wrap it in bacon and cook it on a wood plank. mmmm smoky bacon wrapped turkey
