Default 46" Flambeau Goose Decoys - Really that big?

Some guy up here is selling Magnum Flambeau goose decoys. He claims they are 46" long. I can't find that size anywhere on the Flambeau site. He wants $55 for 6 of them. I don't want to waste my time going to look at them, if they aren't really that big. Anyone know of such a decoy?

I live on a small lake and geese come off a 500ish acre lake all day long. I pass shoot them in my backyard, but want to start pulling them into the field behind me. Well they come into the field all the time, but I want to pull them to me.

    Thanks,

    Jeff

I got some up in my loft. we use to use them for when laying in fields with back rest to cover up. now we use layout blinds. they are 42" long ( shell decoys ) i don't think they make them anymore. you might look at Knutsons.com they might have them still. the price sounds good.

They are 39" and I got them for $35. He also had 4 of the full bodied dekes as well. I got them for $35 as well. I'm kind of glad he didn't have any others, becaue I had both rows of seats down in my Acadia and it was full. Come on the 20th!!!!!

Good luck, I would also get a goose flag or a small black flag on a stick they work great on pulling geese to your spread.

I'm so glad I bought these. Put them out last night and sucked 3 in right away. I missed and they flew off. I was able to call them back, but didn't shoot. I was trying to get them to land, but that didn't happen. I left the dekes out all night and had about 250 come in this morning as I was taking a shower (I can see them from the bathroom). Tonight I sucked several small flocks in at different times as well. I was able to get two different groups of ducks to come in as well with my duck call. Ducks didn't land, but I was happy. I didn't shoot today, because I want to watch how the geese and ducks react to my calling, etc. There are 88 days left of the season, and I want to see how good I can get by the time my sons come home for Thanksgiving!
