    I have had the best luck with standard velocity hollowpoints. But .22 ammo is so cheap it would be very inexpensive to try a bunch of different types in your handgun to decide. Unlike centerfire that you make a small investment in ammo to try a few different types.

    Each gun can be different on what ammo it likes the best.Try a bunch at the bench to see which one yours favor.If you do you may notice a huge difference between bullets,

    I have a couple picky 22LR handguns, and CCI mini mags are about the only thing that will cycle without a hiccup.

    CCI's work the best out of my Sig Mosquito. Winchester bulk .22 bullets were not good (many fail to ejects), and Remington Thunderbolts were so-so. I don't really like the gun (grip is good, but runs like crap), and it will be gone in the future so I can replace it in with another .22. I will have to go through the testing process again with a new gun.
