Thread: Banded Goose

I just checked the band in online. I didn't know you could do that, but you can now. Best part about it is it give you the details immediately.

My goose was banded in Ontario, Canada on 7/19/2007.

They will send the official Certificate of Appreciation in the mail in about 4 weeks they said.

I didn't know you could check them in on-line either, thanks for the info! We killed a mallard duck last year, with a tracking device mounted on its back, (that was cool)

black crow if u like that goose hunting u ned to hunt old hickory a few times those honkers are eveywhere out there.we usually let them fly cause the guy i go with dont like to shoot them.but ive been known to fire down on them:D

Better work those resident Geese over this year. Migrating duck numbers are up good but geese had a terrible hatch, too much snow late into the year up north. Nice bird, I didn't even know it had started yet. Might get out a lil' myself. And congrats on the band! Good lookin' spot too:D
