It's all about money. Greed in the fishing world. They even have the wildlife agencies to the point they want comment. Take the G-kids fishing to play a video-game like they play at home. Not me. I can't use words grandpa and uncle george would use that were my mentors. Great post. Hands down post of the year.

I agree with you. Fishing is my relaxation and fun. It gets me outdoors and see the wonders of the areas around us. It may be a great tool but to me it is not the item I need most when I go fishing. Just give me a good partner in the boat and we can laugh and have a great time.

this is a touchy subject and for sure it leans towards video gaming , we take our kids out to ketch fish to get them away from such things in this part of the world , but that said , it does hold their interest well to watch the fish like on a video game

I have pre-ordered my first LS with the new 34 transducer. I plan to try and catch as many as possible first, before turning on the LS , or if I come up empty and can't figure where the fish went when I spooked them. I also spend a lot of time trolling and single pole is just one way I fish. I've had too many days spending hours trying to get one fish not to try this new technology.( P.S.- I have been fishing since the early 60s. ) Wish me luck on not staring at a screen for hours.

Wow you must be computer literate! This is a very well-spoken post. Live scope is just new tech. Way to expensive for most folks. Just carry on as usual and don't worry about it.........It is fun but I'm not staring at it all day I still love to wonder around spider rigging ! I have 4 helix 10's with a 360 !!
