I was scheduled to attend one of the MS camps a few years back. My head dispatcher messed me out of it. G and Cray were the two people I wanted to spend time with, and I left the job for her lack of respect. He was one of the best men I’ve never gotten to meet, and I hope to meet him one day where the fish are always big and the bite is always on. I’ll miss him and send my prayers for his friends and family. Good men are hard to find, and he was a good one.

So sorry to hear that. G was the first to welcome me here and always helped make my fishing better. R.I.P. friend. Thanks for sharing kindness, wisdom, & friendship.

As his most Michigan Admonished, I hope the God our Good Lord, assigns him a Divine "Deleted Key" for when I get out of line.......
Rest In Peace "G"

Posted by PawPaw Gene yesterday on "G"s birthday:
I have always looked up to "G" and now I have to look a little higher. I felt a closeness to him even before I met him. He and I shared the town we were born in, I only found that out in his obit. He and I shared the "2012 CDC Man of the Year" award, something I will always cherish. His love for people will never be surpassed and his presence here will be surely missed. "G" was a special "one of a kind" person and I'm glad that our paths crossed a couple of times and wish it could have been more. It was an honor knowing him. While we suffer your absence heaven enjoys your presence. Your race has ended and you have run a great race. Many Blessings to you and your family.
PPG
ps: Happy Birthday
