No need to explain the Amateur to me it being your first tournament. What roasts me is these folks who win an event in the Amateur, go fish the pro and finish in the top 3 then come back to the Amateur the next year. Good job guys Well done

Great job Doug. Ya, I'm not a real fan of the Pro/Amateur thing myself.
Don't fish tournaments for a year and you are all of a sudden placed in the Amateur division. A lot less money to fish for.
I like the way the walleye trail does it. If you are a pro, you pay to be a pro and compete as a pro. If you are an Amateur (co angler) you pay, compete as a Co, BUT, you fish with different Pro's on different days. They compete seperately and bring no equipment with them.

Pro or Am that's a good tournament, you would have finished no worse than 3rd either way ! Great job !
