    Default Allatoona 3-19

gajud ,thanks again for the jigs. Unfortunately I left them in the trees at Sweetwater.
Howdy all , New to the forum .
Sweetwater -58 deg - 1 crappie -light stain
    Knox -57 deg- 0 -stain
    Shoal -54deg - 0 - crystal clear
    Downing -60 -0 stain
    Blankets 63 -1 dink - light stain
Still a lot of debris @ Fields ,Sweetwater ,Little River both sides of the bridge,Knox Bridge area. Surprisingly no more than normal debris up the Etowah once you get past the first curve at the power lines. Water looks pretty close to full and may have the fish scattered right now.
    Good luck !! :D

More or less. I try to do my fishing during the week and avoid the crowds. Fields was capacity crowd today and Little River was busy.

Hey GAJUD...when you say up the river (from Fields Ferry) are you talking about up past Knox Bridge? Or Little River?

I did pretty well this evening on the North bank outside of Abercrombie.

    Default water temps

we hit sweetwater creek at about 1 and water temps were about 57. There were a lot of boats there but no one we checked w/ caught anything. We caught a couple of bream shooting docks across from sweetwater. We had to leave about 5 pm when the water temp was hitting 60. I thought there may be a possibility they would start hitting later? It seems I may have missed out on another opportunity. I 'm definitely not "holding my mouth right". Maybe I'll try em again tomorrow?

I was thinking the ones on the bed had started to move further south since they were bedding near fields last week, before the front came in? If they were already bedding there will they re-appear in the shallows again in that area? What's the prediction on where they will be when it gets warm again?

I don't remember the exact number, but the lake record isn't much more that 3 lbs. I might be like 3 lb 9oz. I looked it up in a GON magazine last year and I was ~9 oz from the lake record. I looked on thier website and they list the state records but not the lake records. I will have to dig deeper into the magazines.
