    Default LTL Rod Holders

I know allot of you (TNT and others) have the ones Rusty makes and sells at LTL and im needing some info pros/cons of them. I had Tite Lok on my old rig and I really wasnt that please with it b/c they seemed to loosen up quite often. I dont like the plastic one Wally MArshel sells in BPS b/c its plastic. I called Rusty and Im hoping to stop in Wed and pick up a couple from him for my new rig, but would like to hear all you all like them. I talked/looked at them real hard with Rusty last time I was down and I think thats what I want, just curious to hear from people who actually have used them.

    Duck,
I have seen those rod holders on many boats at Talquin. I've looked at them myself, and they are very well made. The cost is also reasonable when you consider that one driftmaster rod holder is 12-15 bucks. For me the driftmasters are fine (I have 10 on my boat), but if I was in the market for spider rigging gear I would not hesitate to buy from Rusty. By the way, did you get that prop thing sorted out?

The rodholders Rusty has at LTL is definitely a good choice. I wouldn't buy anything else.

Yes and No gator. I took the cover off and noticed the throttle was set real low so I made an adjustment and it planed out and ran good(from what I could tell in all those ewhite caps). He is still sending me a prop b/c a 15pitch is big for that motor/boat. By adjusting my throttle my RPM's went from 3K to 5K so I think I got her fixed. Going to the Lake tomorrow after class to run her if the winds arent that bad so I should know for sure after tomorrow. Hopefully the prop will arive tomorrow as well.

Anybody have any pictures of the rod holders Rusty makes? I'm just curious what they look like. Thx.

TNT, you did a good job. Would have helped it you caught a 14" slab.Rofl
