Two boats. Put in at Long Shoals Ramp. Fished basically only two spots, both up towards the timber in Richmond Creek. We arrived around 8:30 and fished until around 3:30. The boat I followed dropped about a 5-6 ft. green glowing light which really brought in the bait fish.Originally Posted by mdnitrdr
My boat (my son and I) landed a total of around 15, including three cats. We kept 9 of the crappie. The other boat (three people in it) probably wound up keeping 25 or 30 and probably threw back 10-15.
Not as good as some of the posts I've read about here. But, it was quality time on what appeared to be a quality lake. Really dark and few reference points to guide you, so I'm glad I "followed" an experienced boat as we were returning.
Water was really calm and it appeared that they were not drawing any water at all from the lake last night, or if they were, very little. Kind of suprising with Dennis approaching.
