    Default Blackshear Report???

Looking at the post from yesterday, there should have been a pretty big fleet of boats at Blackshear today? So how did everyone do? Were the fish still pretty deep in the main channel? I'd love to hear some detailed reports from some of you Blackshear regulars, since I couldn't make it today.

If the wind there was like it was at my house they are all probably too worn out from getting beat in the boat to post anything.

Yup, they were deep in the main channel. Lot of boats following the ledges. Nothing going on near the tressle or the park. They were down by Cedar Creek in about 30 ft. Had 28 keepers. Only 8 were over 12 inch. Had one over 15. Beautiful day to be on the lake after it warmed up. Saw one guy from Vienna catch a giant slab.

Crappie 41 and I went yesterday afternoon. Trolled the ledges and had 45 keepers. Still catching lots of fish, just having to cull heavy. Almost needed a parking pass to launch at Cedar Creek there were so many boat trailers. Nice to get to meet Jabbo as we were taking out.

Same to you Justfish and Crappie 41 . I started at daylight, then my wife and son met me after lunch and we ended up with 62. We had a 1lb 15oz, a 1lb 13oz, and a 1lb 11oz, and then 7 or 8 more that were in the 1lb 8oz range. The rest were just good eating size. Like justfish said had to cull alot of smaller fish. The bite was good right after daylight pulling 1/16th jigs in 28-34 fow. The fish were 20-30 deep. A lull through the middle of the day and then the bigger ones started back later in the day. The fish are still stacked up in the channels as of now and will probably hold ther until the water temp. starts to climb alittle or we have a long warm spell. :D:D:D
