    The survey results... (40 anglers)

    Number of rods 1161
    purchased in last 12 months 250
    all spent over $ 100.00
    took a child or female 484
    trips over 100 miles 517
    average angler owns 29 rods
    32 owned more than 20 rods
    9 owned more than 40 rods
    averaged taking a child or female 12.1 times
    averaged 12.92 trips over 100 miles

    (next time we may do shoes & handbags)
