    Default COMBO TROLLING 2/2/24

Jim and I were able to get out on Lake Oconee yesterday. We trolled as usual. The water was 49 degrees when we started at 9:00 and 52 degrees when we quit at 3:00. As usual we trolled 1 mph. Jim pushed 8 rods and pulled two long lines 2 long lines. I long lined 6 rods out the back of the boat. The early bite was best but the bite was steady all day. The darker colors seemed to work best. We fished minnow head jigs 1/16 oz and also 1/16 oz pony head jigs (under spins). We ended the day with 31 fish all of which were 11 inches or better. What a way to start the year.
