    Default Tiny but Mighty

Got out yesterday to my favorite get away and managed to bring home a dozen crappie with my favorite BG bait the itty bitt series. These baits don’t look like much but they manage to catch the stubborn ones for sure.

Water levels were low with most of my catch found in as low as 4 foot of water with the majority pulled out from under timber docks. 1 floating dock had some slabs in deeper water. The color of choice monkey milk on a southern pro jig head size 8 hook 1/64oz. Tiny but Mighty no doubt. Thanks for reading be blessed and tight lines to you all this fall!

Thanks! I’ve tried going a little bigger 1/32 with a 2in bait but they won’t touch it. These itty bits get them fired up for sure.

I've been having the same experience lately. I've been catching them on a tiny marabou jig I made for catching pond shiners (roach fish). Speck won't hit anything bigger.

That’s cool and homemade that makes it that much better.

Yeah the waters I fish they go absolutely crazy over the smaller profile baits. I guess I’m just matching the hatch the best with the smaller stuff. Thanks for the reply and checking out the post. Tight lines
