Fished there earlier this year and the wind was blowing real bad but managed to catch a few livescoping. Some of the spookiest fish I’ve seen tho.

Did anyone read the GON.com article about the dodge county PFA? I don't subscribe, so could only see the headline..... it said " Dodge PFA Still Going StrongRecent electroshocking data shows this 104-acre lake still holds some good bass and crappie. "
Heard a different story from some people at work though and wondering which is true.
I've had some skunk days there, so maybe it wasn't all my fault if the lake is empty.
Now that the lake lice will be hitting the big lakes around me, I'll have to try either the smaller PFA's or maybe even trolling around Lake Juliette.

I've been wanting to try blackshear for a while now.... I was thinkin of putting in at the veterans state park though and trying one of the bar and grill spots along the shore. How far is camper haven ramp from the main lake? are there any low spots that are easy to sneak up on? haven't been before, but you may have talked me into it....
Forget Dodge county.
Ocmulgee PFA is where you want to go.
out of the way and little pressure.
For the Everlasting Glory of the Infantry.
Is Ocmulgee more for smaller JON boats? I have a 18 CTX, so not sure if my boat would fit in there. I could rent a 1548 JON from on base, but they aren't in the best of shape most of the time.
I think papasage has talked me into blackshear.... I might scout out a couple of the boat ramps tomorrow. It will be a good chance to take the dogs to the park, too.
Did you do anything at Ocmulgee?
