Weather has certainly been all over the place
Went fishing today after 3 days of 20s and 30s low temperatures for lows and the water temp was 58 degrees when I put in and 62 when I left, found some shad shallow as 15 ft deep, but the only fish I could find were in the center of the coves 20-24 feet deep on a ledge. When to several of the spawning coves I know, and the fish had pulled way back, every cove I fished was the same 20-24 feet deep, fished around and caught more than a dozen fish mostly females still full of eggs. Tried some dock shooting on some docks that i normally catch some on, but none were there.

The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
good report... once they move shallow it's gonna be a busy boat ramp.... looking forward to it.
Same here went out yesterday expecting the fish to possibly be spawning but my usual spots were bear to none after a full day on the water only brought home 5 and caught a mix of bass/sunfish all together probably 10-12 fish for the day. Gonna try again in a couple weeks. I’m a GA fisherman as well I thought the extreme weather change would possibly knock them off a little and it definitely did.

With tomorrow reaching into the 80's you should be able to follow some of 'em from the deep water all the way to the shallows.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
