    Default Aint Nobody Fishing?

Aint nobody fishing Clark Hill Lake? Lets see some reports....good or bad.

To let you guys know on Nov 29 I caught 39 keeping a mess for me, the wife, Dad, and his wife. The rest went back.

Again on 12/5 I fished until the rains started around 10:30 and caught 33 keeping enough for the 4 of us again. Both trips I threw keepers back but I dont need any to freeze as I still have WAY TOO MANY saved from last spring/summer. Dad and his wife LOVES fried crappie fillets. I love having them over seeing them enjoy them so much. My grand daughter is spending the night with us tonite. She like fried crappie fillets too.

Been in the deer woods as of late but fixing to oil up the smoke poles for the year and get the crappie rods ready to go. I’ve mostly fished Oconee for the last several years mainly because it’s about a 25-30 minute drive from home. I was brought up on Clark Hill and hope to venture back now that I’ve retired. Fishing during the week is mighty nice and not nearly as crowded. I mostly spider rig but been wanting to get into long lining. I had hoped to hit you up for a few pointers as soon as I get my rig ready.

Recovering from a busted shoulder and the surgery to repair it.

I should be on the water by February.

Take care of yourself Dutch and do what they tell ya. The fishing will still be there when youre able to get after 'em.

Bite is picking up in all creeks on the lake. Trolling and livescoping has been the ticket. Huge schools will be showing up the mouths of creeks very soon. Its my favorite time of the year by far.

I agree D.I. Between now and the End of Feb/early March is the BEST time for fishing IMO.

Still recovering from two rotator cuff surgeries. Probably be a late February or early March timeframe for me.
