    Default COMBO TROLLING

Jim and I combo trolled yesterday with our usual setup. We trolled 1 mph and found the fish in 8-13 feet of water. The day started slow and we did not catch our first good fish until about 10:30. After 10:30 the bite was consistent the rest of the day. We ended the day with 29 fish in the 11-13 inch range. We trolled at different depths anywhere between 5-10 feet at 1 mph. Jim pushed 8 rods out the front with a 3/4 oz trolling sinker and a 20 inch 6lb leader with a 1/16 oz jig head at the end of the leader. Jim fishes (4) 16 foot rods and (4) 14 foot rods. I pulled 8 rods out of the rear of the boat and my rods were rigged with double 1/16 oz jig heads and 6lb test. I fish with (2) 16 foot rods, (2) 12 foot rods and (4) 8 foot rods.

I am learning and thought combo- front and back- would be nice.Today I had four out front and two out the back. Not much available but my neck sure got a good workout. Nice that you have a partner.
Maybe they will bite this one……

Great fishing combo y’all have going on.
I also fish by myself generally on Oconee. Sometimes having a partner is right handy.
