Glad yaw had a good trip!
just got home from my trip to Eufaula. It was my first trip but it won't be my last. We went down on wednesday morning and by the time we got settled in at Lake Point it was about noon. Coweekee creek was extremely muddy so we took off to find cleaner water, We fished a place or two with not much luck and then we went up river. We found fish in Rood creek and caught 15 very nice fish in the late evening. Thursday we caught 35 that we kept. We kept only 10 inch fish or bigger. That bite played out this morning so we went up river to Barbour Creek. We ended the day with 40. I loved the lake with all the ospreys, spanish moss and some big gators. My favorite part was that unlike here at Weiss when you caught one you were not surrounded by 40 boats. I want to thank Dutch and Curtis Hobbs aka light wire hooker for all the help and knowledge they shared with me. If I can ever return the favor let me know.
I'm glad you had fun and sometimes boat traffic is pretty heavy on that Lake

Footballcoach that is the reason that I don’t fish Weiss any more. We use to come up there twice a year for a week each time. I had a guide tell me about a good place to fish in the evenings. The first couple of years there would only be 3 or 4 other boats in the area about 4 years ago I counted 43 boats there all were anchored. You had to be able to parallel park to fish that bank area. I decided it was not worth the drive from South Alabama. Over the years I got to know some of the guides and one told me that when his customers caught a fish they would try to keep it hide because of all the boats that would head in there direction.
