For 50+ years I have built crappie habitat out of Christmas trees to Oak tops. I am thinking of making some out of PVC...Have any of you made PVC structures and did they hold Crappie?

The only real problem is that they are hard to see on the electronics.
You might stuff some aluminum foil into the PVC to make that easier...
on the other hand, it also makes it impossible for anyone else to find, even with GPS numbers

Look back on some of my post from the past Danbo. Got some pics of some I made. I’ve had real good success with mine. If you have good electronics you can find them with no problem.

I built five foot cubes this summer and they are already holding fish. I also built a homemade design out of 33 gallon can and five foot lengths (100 foot total) of irrigation tube I named the crappie can. I built four they looked good have not got a fish off them in year and a half though. Checked
them on aqua view and nothing around them.
