Fished Blackshear Tuesday morning. First stop was at flint river outdoors to say hello to Brad and to get few minnows that I tip with on couple poles. The early bite was good ( longlining in 12-14 feet of water). Caught lots of Smaller fish and several good fish. I was using Tex (TX87) color on several poles. 1/16 minnow spins with 3/0 lead (small) worked good. Did catch several in 4-6 foot of water later in the morning.......great day to celebrate freedom and be on the water fishing. These will be for next neighborhood fish fry.
