    Default Lake Oconee

I fished oconee Sat for a 1/2 day. I took all the long lining stuff off my boat and thought I would do some dock shooting and some green trash fishing, Well the bass were not biting so I went to the very back of the creek which was loaded with trees. As I went further back all the trees were removed and I decided to troll one rod. It never fails the fish were hungry and NO rod holders. Well I had a ball holding two rods and catching some nice size . All fish were released!! Double 1/16 jigs blue ice twister tail. Gonna give it a try tomorrow and I put all my stuff back on my boat.

I'm assuming the water was fairly clear if you caught them on blue ice. Sounds like somewhere in Richland Creek.

Update. Went back Tuesday and started at safe light. On the way in a school of stripers were boiling the water and made a cast and caught a 3 lb rock. I bass fished on the way back and caught 4 on a buzz bait. when I got to the back I put out 6 rods and the fish were still there. Today I kept 15 decent fish. Think I'll give it a go in the morning.
