    Default Lake Oconee

With the weather forecast for light winds I got to the ramp at sunrise. What a beautiful morning!! I ran back to richland and fished a creek. The fish were on the points early this morning and the size has not changed from last week. All the fish were nice. I noticed the bite slowed so I fished deeper and started catching fish again. Double 1/16 oz jigs and dark colors worked best. I went home at 11.00 with 13 big slabs and the biggest was 16 inches. I also caught 6 stripers. Its was a fun day!!

Good report Jim, thanks for sharing. I caught 45 today spider rigging, with half being keepers. I was on the main lake, north of sugar creek. Jigs with brown were the best today.Name: F19B9800-8424-4CC9-BD43-2B8B822E77C1.jpg

I'm starting to figure out the movements of the fish. This lake can make you humble!!
