I'm tying jigs, fixing stuff on the boat, re-spooling reels, puttering around with gear and waiting for this wind to lay down. Looks like Thursday is the best day this week to go to Oconee again, anyone else going?
I suppose if it is too windy to fish, I should go out and cruise around looking for brushpiles and setting waypoints. I might do that tomorrow on Lanier.
How so?

With the wind forecast looks like Thursday will be my next trip to Oconee. I think I will try the south end of the lake to avoid the crowds.

@Thunder : I suppose you mean a steady wind to keep the boat from swinging around too much on spot-lock, if one has the LS mounted on the TM shaft. Mine is not. I'm talking about winds over 15 mph with gusts to 20+ mph. No fun in any fishing situation, IMO. Hard to keep a cigar lit. :D

Ooops. I take everything y'all say seriously, I guess. These fish are making me crazy. Crappie crazy.
Edit: just checked weather, only calling for 10-20 mph tomorrow.

Fished Lanier today. Caught a pretty good many, just can't find the good size like I do on Oconee.
