I feel your pain. Last 2 trips there no luck.
Went to Pataula creek and side scanned channel ledges in timber for 2 hours and found a couple fish. I pulled jigs for one hour and caught 5 bass and no specks. Mama always told me they would be days like that.

I've had days on Oconee that I swore there wasn't a crappie in the lake.

I was hoping you were going to give me some good news. I will be heading over there Nov 8th and will let you all know how I do. I cut some bamboo yesterday and will cut more before I leave so I can put it out when I go. The first 12 buckets I put out when the bamboo was still green and my next buckets I'm going to let the bamboo dry before I sink it.
I don't know if you all know or keep up with Tony Adams, works at Marvin's) on Facebook but he catches a ton of specks over there all year.
Beats working.
going to take a day off from hunting and go fish Blackshear next week. Ought to be getting right, especially with some more cool weather coming in.
