    Default Blackshear full of trash?

I heard Blackshear is muddy and full of trash, anybody been the last few days? I have been working the last two weeks and want to go Friday, don't care about the dark water, just if its trashy.

    Thanks

I went Sunday and it was stained basically as usual but not trashy. It got churned up around lunch with all of the skiers and tubers. Only caught two. One trolling and one doc shooting cedar creek. I think they have moved out of the channels now.

I figured as much, they were on the banks 2 weeks ago. I might do some trolling early, then its on to bream

Where's a good place to catch some bream at Blackshear? Going camping down there in a couple of weeks.

I was there on Sunday. Water was muddy up north and heavily stained on down the lake. There was a little bit if stuff floating around in the lake but not too bad. We fished some shallow water in Cedar Creek, hit some flats we usually do good at, went into Collins Branch and ended up at Swift. Probably caught 12-15 total but most were butterbeans. The water lice was starting to get bad around lunch time so we left. The most excitement we had was having a full grown dear run out in front of my truck that morning on Coney Road. I hit it doing 60 mph. Happened in the blink of an eye. Thank God I had a Ranch Hand on the front of my truck. No damage at all!!

Collins Branch...be aware there are ALOT of stumps and wood just under the water...so dont go hauling tail into it. I also catch a good many along the banks in Cedar Creek
