    Default Oconne and Sinclair

Haven't been in almost 2 weeks . Have the fish moved any shallower than 15 to 20 ft. The last time I was there I caught them on the bottom in 20 ft of water. Going in the morning. Thanks

Way shallower now. Caught some in 6 ft water Oconee last week. Fish were scattered as well. Sunday at WP caught fish in 2 ft water. Heading to Sinclair this weekend.

Thanks for the info, it's been a weird month seems to me. I have caught the biggest fish I have ever caught in Sinclair this year, just not a lot of them each time. I will probably be at Sinclair tomorrow.

Between my back putting me down for a week and my daughter having a baby girl this week I haven't had a chance to go. Hope you catch a big mess of them. Good luck.

Thanks, I hope we can catch a good mess. 20 or 25 nice ones would be great. Good luck with your back, I had a fusion on mine about 8 years ago. I know all about the good ole back pain, I think every nerve in your body is tied to your back .

Not much luck today, fished lit Creek till 12. Went to crooked Creek caught several dinks. Shot a few docks no bites. Kept 5 . I have not marked or caught anything in less than 15 ft. Fish we're very scattered and on cover that I marked. Did anyone else catch anything today.

Fish lick creek all day same observation as you on crappie depth. Only caught 3 or 4 trolling. So after water warmed up I starting working brush piles. Caught mostly males in warm coves. Kept 10 keepers prob caught 30. It was a hard day fishing for sure.

Hi all! First post on here. Thought I'd give my report. Like you guys, I've been up in Sugar and Lick Creek 2 weeks ago they were HOT. Now I'm experiencing the same slow down. Marking lots but bites been tough. Yesterday evening I decided to go night fishing in my normal spot on the south end of the lake. Got there earlier than I thought so threw out my trolling rigs. Within minutes I had a double on one rod and another with a large striper. Got that mess sorted and caught 3 more before I totally lost the light. Strange thing after dropping my lights. Usually after about 1.5-2 hrs I'm surrounded by baitfish. Last night I only had a couple swim around my lights. Is it too early to expect this? Still came off the lake with a good 28 keepers!
