Get some Peppermint schnapps and take two slugs tonight and dammar night. You will be wide open Thursday. Thursday is the day to limit.....Friday is another cold front.

If I can get off I will hopefully be going this Thursday if not I will be out there Friday. We’ve been doing good on the south end of lake but may be putting in further up depending on reports this week

Gonna try it Thursday myself. Temps in the mid 70’s got me itching to go. Gonna wait and see if anybody gets on em and posts there results before I decide where to go. Thinking Sugar, Lick or Double Branches. Be in a 18’ camo G3 center console if anyone wants to holla at me.

The mouth of Double Creek is loaded with bait and striper/whites/hybrids. Not sure where the hybrids are coming from. Sonny Perdue supposedly stopped GA hatcheries from producing them.

I was going to Blackshear Thursday (finally!), but forecasted winds for Thursday are 10-15 mph...so I am heading north. Maybe the winds will be better on Friday and I can get some time on Blackshear.

We went, we fished, we caught fish, we came home. No slab crappie but some good Stripes. If you, like me, like Stripes to eat over crappie, go to the mouth of Double Branches and troll the right side. I kept 5 specs to fry up today.

All creeks, and main lake coves are stacked with fish. Water temp high 54 in the PM.

Thursday could be a really good day. I would go but at my age and condition, I am only good for one trip per week. I live 70 miles from Sinclair, Oconee, and Clark Hill.
