    Default Talquin (16-17 Jan 2019)

Made a return trip to Talquin to see if the reports I had been hearing was true. Yes, the quality fish were biting and lots of limits being caught. We fished Williams area just outside the channel. We were using Litewirehooks and Tex’s Curley tails. Blue/white with chart tail was killer in 14-20 foot of water. Next best bait was minnow spins........best I seen Talquin in years. Reminded me of old times.....be back for crappiemasters....

Nice fish. Congrats. Wished it wasnt so far for me. Stay after 'em. The really BIG fish should be biting before too long.

Nice report and fish! Will it take 28 pounds to win the crappie masters tournament?
