Remember the good ole days when you would drive for 45 minutes in the fog knowing you were close to your spot, only to realize you were making giant circles the whole time?

Times like these plus night time is the reason I fell in love with GPS before every started marking way points. The GPS has got me back to the ramp a many times without it would not been able to navigate.

I too have been in that same situation.
It is unnerving to hear those boats on plane coming my way.

It can be unnerving. I tend to hug the shoreline in areas close to the launch, that I feel might hold fish, until it lifts a little. I would much rather spend a little time doing this than a lot of time in a hospital bed or even longer in a grave.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.
