Question Newbie to Crappie (Fishing). (Lake Blackshear area)

I am new to crappie fishing. I have been fishing lake blackshear since the beginning of the year. I have been bass, crappie, bream fishing this whole time and I go at a minimum of once a month but most months more. I have had only caught two crappie when I was fishing for bass on a spinner bait. I have not caught any bass period. I have caught plenty of bream no problem. I have plenty of bass fishing gear and some crappie fishing gear. I have done a lot of reading and video watch but just can not figure it out. I really have no clue what I am doing. Is there anyone in the area that can or would be willing to go out with me some time to show me the ropes. I would be willing to go on there boat or we can go on my boat. I have have a 17ft G3 Eagle 170 aluminum boat with a 90hp engine. I have a Elite 9 ti at the console and a hook2 7inch at the front hooked into my Xi5 trolling motor with gps anchor. So I have the gear/tools, just not the know how. I am a catch a release fisherman so I am not looking to rob the lake of fish. I do it to relax and it has been relaxing but would like to catch some fish more so than not and there have been a lot of not catching fish. If anyone would be willing to show me to ropes, please let me know.

I will be heading that way when the conditions get right. I fish somewhat like Dutch and often similar areas. Fish during the week when winds are light and variable. Be glad to let you ride and fish. Have to fish out of my boat because I would be lost without my hummingbird.

that has to be a mega hummingbird... with the water temp that high, looks like you were in the middle of summer.... has it changed your fishing at all? probably think high of it if you say you'd be lost without it....

Changed the way I fish. Know when to slow down, speed up, concentrate on area, or leave and go home. My first update since 2008 but I still got the lowrance LCX-28HD.
