get you a five gallon bucket, stand about 15- 20 ft. away, with slingshot form practice getting it into the bucket. point the tip of your rod before pulling it back at the bucket....practice makes for better results...lots of good docks over there
I am planning to go over to Eufaula the weekend before Thanksgiving. I am thinking about dock shooting and spider rigging. I have never tried dock shooting but looks fun. I don't know if its the right time of year or the right lake. Has anyone ever tried it at Eufaula? Any suggestions?

Thanks for the help. I have never crappie fished in the fall. I usually just hunt but I put up a automatic feeder at my parents lake house so now I can do both.
Anyone have a fishing report?
I used a coffee cup to practice 30 years ago. Some of the docks I shoot have real tight clearances.
I like practicing on the water. grass doesn`t let the jig skip like water.do that when the fish are not bitting.

Try the Alabama board.
How did you do? Thinking of heading there tomorrow.
Caught limit Sunday after finding clear water on the north end. River channel had stuff floating everywhere. All the fish I caught was in 20-25 FOW in creek channels. I was spider rigging at 10-12 ft deep.
