got on the water by 8:00am water was calm wet to the river channel at the mouth of cedar creek . the fish was stacked up on the ledges but would not bite a minnow was going to try longlinning but the wend got up so i moved into the creek where it was calm . drop shot minnows for a while bite was slow so i started long lining caught several with acid raine and a red green chartreuse jiffy jig . tried the trees and caught 1 and a catfish . the wend got to bad and my trolling battery started to die so i loaded up and came home . all in all i enjoyed the day all by my self . don` tell the wife lol

i did meet a CDC member that lives on the lake but can`t remember his name . that is how it is at 72 years old .

all caught in ceder creek channel was female but one i caught it in the trees and it was a male . that is where i caught the catfish . guess is he had ran them out when i caught it but no more bites in the trees anywhere .
i think they will be in the trees by next week .i will be there all week .
