Dem Rodbenders Update Lanier 3/25 and 3/27
After my trip to Toona on Sat I headed over to Big Sid for some fatty girl action on Sunday. It was BRICK COLD but the fish did not seem to mind. Since they were not in the shallows last weekend we decided to long line troll the main channels. Just like at Toona on Sat the males hit us early and the females showed up later in the day. The wind started getting up and eventually pushed us off the water. We could have caught them into the night elsewise. Wally World, orange/yellow, a clear were the ticket. On Tuesday my buddy got out for a solo trip and slap wore dem fatties out. With the warm weather and the pending full moon, I feel the spawn will be in full swing this weekend. Time to pull out the spider rigs.
