Default Youd think I would know better by now

Son came home from collage to do a little crappie fishing with dear old dad. I told him that it was getting ready to bust wide open so he was primed to go today. When I hung up the phone I knew that I had screwed up, I hate fishing on the weekends but he was willing to drive from Ga southern to fish with me.

We got a late start cause said son is perpetually late for almost everything so when we get to Jackson lake its crazy with bass fisherman. Not 1 but 2 bass tournaments are going on so as you know they think they are the only people that should be on the lake and you should get out of the way. The rudeness was at an all time high. We tried to get away from them by going deep into the back to shoot docks but they still came in at break neck speed, fish for 5 min and take off.

The day wasnt a complete loss cause I got to spend a few hours fishing with the other love of my life, which is rare due to his schedule.
    Sorry for the rant

2 weeks ago at it was the same way at Sinclair fog so thick you couldnt see 100 yards... the b*******s running full blast through the fog in search of the almighty ditch pickle, no lights on most of the boats, like they are the only people on the lake.

Still a lot of nice people on the water, but only takes a few to taint the sport. Seems like rudeness has invaded fishing, like vehicle driving. Competetive fishing draws out the worst behavior.

I just posted close to the same thing about fishing Blackshear yesterday. I miss having my days off during the week.

My days off rotates from week to week. My upcoming schedule is I'm off next Fri thru Sunday. Hopefully the wind isn't too bad next Friday cause right now that's my plans for fishing. My days off rolls forward one day each week and I get 3 days off after working 5 days. I LOVE those days off during the week.

Dont get me started on the crazy drivers, a women pulled out in front of 2 cars so the other 2 came into my lane pushing me into the ditch. This was on the way home from fishing.

do not fish on weekends as I am retired now and let the worker bee's who are still paying into SS compete with each other and run over one another.
