Default Sinclair 2-25-18 1st trip of the new year (finally)

We fish Sinclair yesterday, and it was a tough one. Water is the clearest I have every seen Sinclair this time of the year, water temps were 44, 46 by 5 pm. Fish were scattered in the channels 20 ft of water...nothing shallower that 15ft or so. Catfish and Stripers/hybrids were rampaging as well. Managed 8 keeper crappie, 5 catfish, and kept 5 whitefish for the grill. It was great to be back on the water.

Not a bad start to the year!
Fishing is like pizza.......Even when it's not that good, it's still pretty good!

    Good job.
Fished the north end of Lanier 1/26.Caught 17 total, only 4 keepers. Fish are also scattered (GOTTA start spyder rigging',) but those little jokers on those brush piles in 22 FOW would absolutely HAMMER the jig. I just with that I could locate their great grandparents...

We went to Sinclair this morning and left around noon.
Caught about 20-30 with only 8 keepers and a few of those were questionable. Water temps 47-48
