I hear you Beavz! I haven't given up on Lanier yet either. I just need a new side imaging unit and time on the water. Plus I will be putting out my own brushpiles so WE, including you, don't have to worry about the tight lips around here and we will have tight lines. There's a warm spell in the forecast so I will be on the water next week
Lol! Well, I DID say that I didn’t catch any fish long lining... but I put all that away and got my dock shooter back out.
Put steel in 6 or 7. All dinks and released to grow up!
I know every trip isn’t (banner) for you... but when it’s good, it’s REALLY good! Thanks again for sharing your knowledge.

Beavz,I have caught a lot of fish out of Lanier longlining. It will take you a while to learn the lake. Right now I am sure they are on brush piles and under docks. The best days to troll on Lanier is cloudy days because your fishing clear water. When things start warming up this spring concentrate on creeks up the Chestatee and on the north end of the Chattahooche.
Wahoo and Little river are good creeks in the spring and yellow jacket also. There will be a lot of fish up above clarks bridge also.
Good Luck
Mr. Sage I haven't thought of that. I don't chew any more but that might be the excuse I need to start back.
Thanks for the tip.![]()
It'll get better
