    Default Favorite go-to artificial bait

Not that there is a blue-jillion color combinations among crappie lures on today's market, making possibilities virtually endless. I have bought and tried thoasands of these to no avail. Make a longer story short, I didnt have a bit of luck using the same jigs as Roland J Orlando on the Outdoor Channel. So not all jigs and color combinations work everywhere. I just wanna ask everyone what would be your favorite jig/lure and choice of color.

I was raised using the Creme mini-tail (cause that was about the only crappie jig that Walmart sold in my small town) blk/chartreuse and pearl white, on an unpainted minnow lead head. Matter of fact still have some of these in my arsenal today. But my preference now days is Strike King Joker(blk/chartreuse & pink/chartreuse) fished on a chartreuse lead head, preferably with #2 hook.

If I could only use one color, it would be Bubblegum with Chartreuse curly tail.

Mostly depends on the lakes but its a toss-up between Black/blue and Green/chartreuse on the main lake I fish.

Blue Shiner w/ a hot pink head.

Has been a killer combo in the lakes I fish.

2nd best is Wiess Lake Killer

These two will fill a live well.

And If you don't watch out you will have a lot of go to baits and if you get that far it is not all fishing then
