Default Going to Oconee This Sunday 3-5-17

Headed to Oconee this weekend to do alittle trolling, was thinking about hitting double branches but been seeing everybody saying its slow in there. Was just looking for a few more ideas if anybody has had any luck elsewhere not looking for exact coordinates just a general area. May try Sugar Creek or Lick Creek also. Anyways thanks for any info that is given. Good luck everyone.

All the fish I saw on Oconee the last few days were suspended 5-8' in anywhere from 13-30' fow. If we can get a few days of warm weather in a row it will be on like donkey kong before the next full moon. Water temp yesterday was 58-60. We had the same experience as Dutch. The most fish we caught in one place was 5. All of them were were a # or better though.

Stinger, this is the time of the year when they scatter ever where. It is actually harder to catch these fish during their spawn process. Many of the big females have completed their process. Rocky and Double Creek is not completely dead and you can do well in Lick or Sugar. Fish the early bite and especially the last two hours of the day. If the weather pattern holds, this spawn will be over by the 15th.

Do not discount the ole Jig or minnow under a cork. It stills works.
