    Default Lake Oconee

Hey fellows, we put together a little tourney on Lake Oconee yesterday. We had ten boats in it and only three boats weighed in fish. It was tough out there to begin with, we never boated a fish until after lunch. I counted 26 boats trolling around the same spot that we were in and I only saw two fish boated before lunch. They turned on a little after lunch. We ended up with seven, we shared first place with another team with 11 lbs. 13 oz. I had the big fish with a nice 2lb.9 oz. slab. I had one that was just as big as my big fish but when I got it to the top by buddy swiped the net at it and missed and hit my line and it broke off. About another week or two and Oconee should be on fire.
    Thank God I'm A Country Boy !!!!!

This is some of the combined fish that I brought home after we cleaned some and had a shore lunch.

This nice one was caught on a bumble bee jig tied by our own slab slayer. I caught two out of my four fish on this jig.

Yea I sure did. I might need some more of those bumble bee jigs from you. I really liked that 1/8 oz. bumble bee jig you tied for me.
