    Default Blackshear

With all the rain I wonder if the lake would be clear enough to fish on Saturday?

It will be muddy enough to see deer tracks in...

And more rain forecasted for Friday.

Clear is not good for fishing. You want color in the water. Use a Blue/Black jig and go catch fish. Pressure matters as high pressure is not good.

I have seen the time when I would put snuff in the water. The crappie would eat it and when they come up to spit, I catch them in the net.

I to prefer some color in the water. I have caught alot of crappie in muddy water and cold water...checkout this video from last Febuary, I was longlining on Sinclair, water was muddy and cold (45*-49*)

The dealbreaker on Saturday (for me at least) would be the wind...high winds on Blackshear and it is ROUGH.

NOAA forcast....A 40 percent chance of rain, mainly before 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 42. North wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
