    Default Which is better?

Which fuel additive is better, sea foam or sta-bil, or are they just as good as the other?

I never used Sea Foam because it comes in a can and cannot be measured out (alot of times I'm only buying a few gallons of gas at a time). On the other hand Stabil can be measured out and I run it in EVERYTHING except my car or truck.

Sta-bil is a stabilizer .... Sea Foam is a cleaning agent that has a stabilizer in it. So, the question is not which is better, but which is better at doing WHAT ?? !!! If it's stabilizing your fuel for long periods of non-use ... both are good. If it's cleaning (de-carbonizing) your engine AND stabilizing your fuel ... Sea Foam.

Marine Sta-bil is what I use every fill up. Sea-foam once a year, a whole can into a fresh tank of gas and run it like you stole it. Never had a issue with either my 25hp Merc 2-stroke in the 13 years I ownedit
or with my 60hp Merc 4-stroke in 3 years. But then my boat rarely sits still more than a month at any time of the year.
