Default Oconee First night trip of the year

Got on the water late Friday night after the rain passed through. Our first spot was over some trees in 20' of water. We caught a few smaller fish. We then moved out to a point in deeper water (35') where we found some better fish. Our best was 14" and just over 1.5 lbs. Of course I had to keep some smaller ones because my grandpa always tells me the he never caught enough of them big ones to acquire a taste for them.
