    Question Anyone catchingthem shallow yet?

Have tried some old shallow spots lately with minnows but have yet to catch any at all. With water temps at or around 70 I figured they would have at least started spawning?

We caught some in 12 ft of water on last Monday. It has been warm all week, and I would suspect they have moved up in the shallows by now. This cold front coming thru today may slow them a bit, but next week is predicted to be warm and they should be right back at it then.

All week we was catching fish from 5ft to 20ft at Oconee...we were long lining jigs at 1.4. Crappie spawn in waves, so not all the fish will be shallow at once
