    Default March Oconee Fishing report


    My how things change! mid feb was coveralls and 48 degree water temps! Now it is 82 degrees ...pollen explosion and water temps pushing 70! Fish came to spawning grounds quick and some are still shallow and others can be caught looking in major creek mouths around the lake and looking deeper. long line trolling has been very effective in all water columns as well as pushing shallow sand flats and around docks particularly in the afternoon! good fish are still being caught all around the lake...you may just have to weed through a few peanuts!
