Default Rough day on Blackshear 1-30

Launched at daylight at Veterans, water temp was 43* got up to 49*...fished river channel water was muddy from above 280 bridge to dam alot of trash floating around...smoak creek clear and full of boats...fish were DEEP and on structure, manage 7 keepers by 3 pm...wind got up, Crisp county was pulling water, quite a bit of boat traffic..all fish were caught on river channel ledge...dark colors best. Tough day, but beats having to go to work.

Thanks for your post and pic's
Been a very nice day here in Leesburg today (70ish), but I'm trapped inside fighting a bad chest cold.

Thanks for the report. We fished Oconee and it was a tuff day there too.

Good report. We fished out of Williams Park with only one fish. Worked ledges and flats from Collins to Swift various depths. One of the worst days I have ever had at Blackshear. We were long lining.

We were to...double 16ths with a 3/0 splitshot at .8. and the bites were light...probably missed several fish thinking it was bumping trash or bottom.

Sunday was no different. They were pulling water very hard. Never seen it that fast. I reckon with high water and incoming rain was the reason.

Yes, it was a rough day. We started out in swift creek. Lots of trash. Had three keepers. We pulled out at 12:30.
