    Default Ga Lake Blackshear get to gather


    planning on having it April 9 Th 2016 at Ga veterans state park. going to try to get the enclosed pavilion or the screen pavilion , will post more information later .
    will be having the get to gather in the enclosed shelter in the campground . this shelter was closed but have been reopened . this shelter is close to the water will try to get campsite close to it so all that come by water can park their boat there . planning on a Friday night low country boil then a fish fry Saturday .will be ticket sales for a drawing on door door prizes to help pay for the event and what is left will be put in the member in need fund .
    will be making a list of the ones that will be coming so we can have enough food . let us know by pm or post if you can make it Friday nigh and Saturday or just one day and if camping . will be trying to get campsite 10 that is across from the enclosed shelter .

    Just marked it on the calendar at work to get the day off. Look forward to being there again. Hope the wind will cooperate this year.

    I don't know if Sage has mentioned it yet or not but there is a small change to our Friday night meal. We usually have hotdogs and hamburgers around one of the camp sites. This year we are gonna have a low country boil at the enclosed pavilion inside of the camp grounds. They cam up with the idea and I think its great.

    There is a chance my Dad will be down from Ohio to fish that weekend. Be cool to have him here for the Slabtogether, we both missed the Talquin event in October. (Dang doctors).
