Default Lake Blackshear (30 Sept 15)

The weatherman had been wrong 2 days in a row so we decided to take our chances on 60 percent rain.......beautiful day with no wind. We fished the edge of the channel in about 18-24 foot of water using #4 piece of lead and litewirehooks. We caught fish all along the channel and especially when we ran over tree tops. It was a beautiful day with no boat traffic. We kept 38 for the frying pan. We butterflied the fish so we have fillet on one side and bone on the other plus they fry up good and brown. If you go to Blackshear stop by and support Brad at Flint River Outdoors......first time I met him he was wearing a Crappie.com Shirt........so he's got to be a good guy. It's only going to get better.

Good looking mess of fish Curtis. You must have served in the military since you posted the date as 30Sept15. That is military jargon.
